The Journey Behind the Jewellery
My path to becoming a jeweler did not begin with natural talent, but with persistence. After leaving my career as a flight attendant in 2013, I discovered a passion for silversmithing through a simple online tutorial. The early days were filled with frustration, but I was captivated by the idea of creating something that could last for generations.
I taught myself the craft from the ground up, eventually moving to the UK to further my formal training in jewellery design and silversmithing. This education deepened my technical skills and refined my approach to every piece I create.
What started in my home and grew through sold out markets in Dubai under my first brand, Rae Savia Jewellery, has now evolved into a pursuit of meaningful design. In a world of mass production, I focus on creating jewellery that is both beautiful and deeply personal, often incorporating hidden messages and secret meanings into my work.
Today, my life is a blend of two passions: motherhood and craftsmanship. Since welcoming my beautiful baby boy a year ago, I have learned to embrace the rhythm of creating during nap times. While I look forward to having more uninterrupted hours once he starts nursery, for now, I pour my heart and soul into every piece during these stolen moments.
